About Micromobility in Cities; with Georgia Yexley

We're joined by Georgia Yexley from TIER Mobility to talk about the value, which micromobility brings to cities. We take a deeper dive into the big questions surrounding micromobility, including use of data, sustainability, accessibility and inclusion as well as the challenges of scaling and geographically expanding such a complex business model.

Micromobility is a very young industry, which has been developing rapidly since its early days. As Georgia points out, the industry has learned very fast that growth at all costs is not the path to success. She shares very interesting insights into TIER's strategy to add micromobility to cities in a safe and value-adding way and nicely explains the level of detail and thought that their team puts into every level of the operations, highlighting  how much collaboration efforts, attention to detail, involvement of the community and overall innovation power is going into every level of the activities. This strategy can be seen in action by the example of the new service trials in London, which have been rolled out as of the 7th of June this year. It showcases that micromobility can create positive feedback cycles and truly enrich the mobility landscape in cities.
